The female attorneys at the law firm of Budd Larner, P.C., with the support of Katherine Walczak, Branch Manager, JPMorgan Chase, have formed "Women in Transition", an educational and support network for women. Garden State Woman Magazine is also a co-sponsor.
"WIT" focuses on specific challenges facing women as they go through lifestyle changes including marital, financial and health related issues. The group promotes a supportive, education-based environment tailored to "women in transition" seeking help and professional guidance through lifestyle changes.
"Members of WIT will have the opportunity to meet other women who are going through similar changes, and learn about legal, financial and emotional issues affecting them," says Susan Reach Winters, Chairperson of the Family Law department at Budd Larner.
Quarterly networking meetings will be held in the evenings and educational workshops will be conducted in the mornings. All events will be held in Short Hills. Call (973) 315-4515 for more information.
